Hale Farm Civil War Weekend ⚔️

Saturday, August 9 – 10 AM - 5 PM – Hale Farm and Village

Step back into the 1860s with booming cannons, battle reenactments, and Union and Confederate camps spread across the scenic grounds of Hale Farm. Soldiers march, horses charge, and kids get hands-on with history.

It’s one of the region’s most immersive living history events—and yes, it’s loud. Bring earplugs and curiosity.

Rock the Civic Gala, Celebrating Meat Loaf

Saturday, August 9 – 5:30 PM – Akron Civic Theatre

It’s part celebration, part rock concert, and all Meat Loaf—courtesy of tribute band Neverland Express, along with American Idol winner Caleb Johnson. Expect live music, raffles, and Civic charm in full force.

Upgrade to VIP and you’ll get dinner, drinks, desserts, and a private Sky Box to watch the show from. Like a rock star, but with better snacks.

The Cleveland Orchestra teams up with vocalist Tony DeSare to bring Billy Joel’s biggest hits to life. Picture "Piano Man" under the stars, backed by world-class musicians and thousands of fans singing along.
